Connecting Canadian Bears, Cubs and their friends

I've been on a lot of bear sites over the years, and found a lot of great information, and met a lot of interesting people.

One thing I had thought about for quite a while though, is some kind of site to focus on Canadian bears and cubs. One that not only lets them connect, but maybe provide some more functionality. Not necessarily focused just on "hook ups" but also letting guys hang out and talk with other like minded Canadian Bears.

Also, for those who don't live in Canada - a place where they might also meet Canadian bears. Maybe you're moving or vacationing here, or just want to know some furry Canucks.

With that in mind, I decided on CanadianBears.com as a place to start. I'm not sure how the site will evolve, but for the time being it has functionality with will allow you to:

• Create a profile
• Search Other profiles
• Send private messages to other members
• Join Chat Rooms
• Read news about stuff of interest to the gay and bear community
• Read and contribute to forums as well.

I'll be adding more as time goes on. If you have any ideas that you'd like to see, let me know and we'll see what we can do.

As an introductory feature, all the memberships for guys who join before the end of 2009, will be full access and free. As we head into 2010, and start adding even more functionality, I might need some support for that.
